Default Anyone doing quests/dungeons nowadays?

From the party screens, people are either farming VS (whose price has rock bottomed, so who cares) or trading.

People who are doing quests/dungeons have to rely on H/H because it has become more difficult to find a party for quests/dungeons nowadays. Elite missions are even worse.

So unless I am a trader or farmer, is this game even a real game anymore?

I stopped doing anything serious after getting my main character to GWAMM. Now I just log in to say hi to guildmates and for the odd TA or HA run. Less and less even of that as the months roll on. The other day XP popped up that little message saying that the GW icon was unused and would I like to move it to the rarely used shortcuts folder. I cared about GW just barely enough to click on "No".

I still do quests, missions and dungeons, even tho I made them all already with my main character.

I wish all of them were account wide an repeatable, so people had to make them all just one, but were able to repeat them anytime.

Doing Tyrian missions currently with 2 friends, I wouldn't do them alone with H/H way too boring. Also Nightly FoW and UW clearouts with friends and 1 or 2 heros, Unless it doesn't take 3hrs, speed isn't our goal but fun.

I just started EotN with my Necromancer and I plan to do what I've done with my Mesmer, Elementalist, Warrior and Ranger:

Beat EotN with every entry in the Hero's Handbook and complete at least 10 dungeons for the Master Dungeon Guide.

I used to do that. But friends started to quit also.

Nowadays it is either H/H or dont play unless I dont mind parking my character somewhere for afew hours and LFG for a quest or mission.

Edit: And I am starting to hate Umbral Grotto. That place is now full of shit, cant even get a group going. I think I will sabotage some of their runs just for fun.

Yes.
Guilds still do dungeons all the time. If you guild/alliance doesn't, get a more active one.
If you want to pug a dungeon, why put yourself through that horror.

I have never farmed, never done HA or those other things I see mentioned and hate trading, but I do do it occasionally to get items.

I will get round to doing dungeons (and probably HA etc etc) at some point, but I am still working my way through every quest and mission and enjoying it. I've just got my main char to Nightfall, doing every mission and quest and I've been playing for over a year. My other chars I don't do all missions, just go and grab whatever skills or heroes I want to have for them.

I also never use PUG's since they seem to be too tiresome or impossible to find in most places. I play with my mate, or just H/H and I'm perfectly happy.

I would like to have nice 'real' people to play with, but I'm in this for fun and too often just hear 'more experienced' players whinging about everyone who doesn't have the correct build. And I struggle to want to commit to set hours and times to play to make it easy finding online friends.

I used to complete dungeons every few nights with a good real life friend, but he stopped playing, it's kind of boring h/hing dungeons so I haven't done so for a while.

just got done doing them mox quests....lets see 12 characters and still have 3 who have yet to go to the jungle (elonian characters)....need a nap now.

Ohh, I still play quests but I avoid PUGs most of the time so it's not always that there aren't players but a lot of players tend to stay clear from people they don't know since it could be a big waste of time. I only PUG if I see a team that instills some confidence in me and sometimes I allow one player in my H/H team because I can do it even if that player does nothing so it's not a liability.

I still do quests/dungeons even tho i class myself as a farmer these days - sometimes i help new players out or try and do things diff ways .

Ganni some time we gotta team up again and have some fun at Dajkah Inlet - me and dawns missing the old days

As for the part about players who have done everything - try ditching your uber builds and try areas with standard builds .. i did a bit of factions after kaineng with a basic daggers build just for fun and was enjoyable as it was a challenge or even go to starter places and help new players so they can learn and improve.
And im sure Ganni will agree with the above as hes posted a few times non uber builds for uw and recently fow that anyone can use rather than needing specialist skills and experiance plus high ranks in some title.

I think most of the people who were going to max titles and finish all of the quests/missions have already done it. The only reason to do them now is to rush a character through the game to get to the 15k armors.
